TransFreight
Mobile Comm.® provides integrated wireless
access to the TransFreight
Management System®. This application
enables users that have a wireless unit such as a PDA (with
Microsoft® Pocket PC, Palm OS), Smart Phone or
any wireless device with a browser and Internet access to log-in
to the TransFreight Management System through a wireless connection.
Drivers could use this to update their current status with real-time
data and information updates.
With TransFreight
Mobile Comm.®, drivers can easily send and/or request information
with no delay and have the ability to map their location real-time
through PDS' recommended GPS device.
The PDS Wireless Development
team has devised a secured Wireless Demo Navigator for
those who would like to evaluate our wireless application.

Before a driver/user
can access the TransFreight Mobile Comm. they will be presented a screen where they have to enter their User Id & password.
The Main Screen
can vary depending
on the type of user that logs into the system.
Driver Information
Real Time Location Mapping
A Driver can
log-in and easily
view their Details and update them if necessary.
This information will automatically be reflected
in the TransFreight Management System.
With a GPS receiver in place,
drivers can easily map their current location from
the interstate level down to a street level map.
