EDI
The
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) function provides the means to
exchange freight information between shippers and their carriers using computers
connected with another computer by telephone.
EDI is designed in accordance to the TDCC(Transportation Data Coordinating Committee) standards. This permits pertinent information
regarding a customer's inbound and outbound shipments to be exchanged.
